Wild Mama Voices

“Melding Motherhood, Creativity & Culture as a Polynesian Woman”

DEMANDING SPACE FOR YOUR HIGHEST EXPRESSION, REFRAMING FAILURE BEYOND WESTERN IDEOLOGY, & FEELING EMPOWERED TO BET ON YOURSELF

A conversation with Pele Bennett

Thursday, June 13th at 5:30PM

Join us on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 5:30 - 9:00PM, as we gather at Ka Waiwai (Mō'ili'ili) for a potluck and in depth conversation with Pele Bennett, interdisciplinary artist, activist, philanthropist, business owner, community leader, and mama of 3 about her journey through motherhood over the last 17 years. We will explore the beauties and challenges of not just taking up space but giving yourself permission to demand space as a mama, intentionally rooting in culture and raising kids with blended backgrounds, expanding definitions of failures and creative expression, and what it looks like when you bet on yourself.
